Acceptable use policy

Last updated 3 October 2026. Written in plain language on purpose. Where a word has a legal meaning, we say so.

Deyn exists so that honest lending can be recorded honestly. These rules keep it that way for everyone.

You may not use Deyn to

  • Record or support lending that is illegal where you or the borrower are.
  • Charge interest or fees above what your country's law allows, or hide charges from borrowers.
  • Send threatening, abusive or misleading messages, or message people who have not agreed to hear from you.
  • Enter details of people under 18, or of anyone without a lawful basis.
  • Share one login between several people, or give access to anyone outside your business.
  • Probe, scan or test the service for weaknesses without our written permission, or try to access another business's data.
  • Send bulk marketing by SMS. Reminders and account messages only.

What happens if these rules are broken

We may warn you, suspend the account, or close it, depending on how serious it is. Where the law requires, we will report to the authorities. We will always tell you what we found unless we are legally prevented from doing so.

Reporting a problem

If you believe someone is misusing Deyn, or you have found a security weakness, email dms@koneza.com. For security reports: tell us before telling anyone else, give us a reasonable time to fix it, and do not access data that is not yours. We will not take action against anyone who reports in good faith under these conditions, and we will credit you if you wish.
